Dr. Celeste Simmons is a psychologist specializing in family forensic psychology. She has more than 15 years of experience in  child, teen/adolescent and individual therapy. Family therapy is also a specialty, more specifically dealing with complex family circumstances, and providing comprehensive evaluations in legal settings. She has been recognized as an expert witness in both federal and state court jurisdictions, bringing a depth of knowledge and insight into her work.

Dr. Simmons’ expertise extends to working with children as young as three years old, and she has a knack for guiding every member of a family through critical transitions necessary for healthier family dynamics. Do you Accept insurance?

Kaiser Permanente

Dr. Simmons is currently in-network with Kaiser. Before scheduling psychotherapy or assessment/evaluation services with us, all clients need a verified external referral from Kaiser after their screening. Please contact your Kaiser clinic for processing. If you do not have the referral, Kaiser will not reimburse your fees. If you have an older referral, we advise you to call the clinic to confirm it is still valid.

Dr. Simmons is an out-of-network provider for all other insurance companies. If you use our services, you will be expected to pay the full fee yourself. We offer you Superbill receipts for the service you receive from us, and you can submit them to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Most insurance companies may cover part of the fee (50-80% typically) for out-of-network providers like us.
