Family therapy is also a specialty, more specifically dealing with complex family circumstances, and providing comprehensive evaluations in legal settings. She has been recognized as an expert witness in both federal and state court jurisdictions, bringing a depth of knowledge and insight into her work.

Dr. Simmons’ expertise extends to working with children as young as three years old, and she has a knack for guiding every member of a family through critical transitions necessary for healthier family dynamics.
